Housekeeping Supervisor

 

 

 

 

 

 

Housekeeping in student accommodation areas

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who has a great passion for housekeeping and cleaning, preferably with previous supervisory experience. You will provide operational support to the overall housekeeping department.  You will be responsible for daily checks and audits and ensuring high cleaning results are achieved. You will give feedback to the room attendants on their performance and identify any further training and development needs. You will act as Duty Housekeeper as and when required. You are expected to be well presented, friendly, enthusiastic and flexible. You will have the communication skills to develop a team to succeed. The basic hours of work are 37 hours per week working 5 days out of 7.

The successful Chef de Partie will bring energy and drive to the established kitchen brigade in this exciting role which offers you the freedom to fully express your own style within an interesting and varied food offering that covers many different events and service styles.  Whether catering for a large scale event or an intimate Private Dining group, our aim is simple – deliver top class high quality food every time. You will already have experience working in a similar role and hold relevant NVQ and Food Hygiene certifications.  You will demonstrate the ability to take on this responsible position, be standards driven and have an eye for detail.  Most importantly you will show genuine passion for excellent food and an obvious desire to progress with this excellent opportunity to further develop your existing skills and knowledge.  The basic hours of work are 37 hours per week working 5 days out of 7 straight shifts on a rota basis

In this important role you will provide daily operational support to the housekeeping team and ensure that all linen and laundry services are maintained around the business levels. You will also be expected to undertake cleaning tasks in the accommodation areas as and when required. You must be physically fit and enjoy working as part of a team. The basic hours of work are 37 per week, working 5 days out of 7 shifts on a rota basis

Night Duty Manager

We are looking to recruit a Night Duty Manager who will lead a small team. Your main duties will be security and delegate welfare, preparing lecture and function rooms for the following day and preparing and serving late night drinks or snacks for delegates. You will also be responsible for cleaning and tidying public areas. You must be able to communicate clearly and calmly under pressure and have great customer care skills. Basic computer skills would be an advantage, as there will also be Front Desk duties. This is a very physical role as you will always be on the go. You will work shifts, 5 nights out of 7 (11.00 pm – 7.00 am).

The working hours are on a permanent contract for 25 hours per week, on a rota basis working 5 days out of 7.

Duty Manager

We are looking for a Duty Manager to join the Conference Centre team.  This role offers a fantastic working environment supporting a good work life balance philosophy and we are committed to training and developing our team.  The role is varied and includes ensuring the smooth running of the operation on a daily basis.  Knowledge of both front of house and food and beverage operations is essential along with a professional and highly organised approach to management.  The role would ideally suit a candidate from a Hotel or Conference Centre background.

The basic hours of work are 37 hours per week working 5 days out of 7 straight shifts on a rota basis.

Onsite Hospitality Assistant

This position is varied and busy. Always on the go you must be physically fit as lifting will be involved. Your role will include the setting up and servicing of lecture rooms, general hospitality duties, setting up buffets and serving hot drinks throughout various locations. You will need to be flexible as working on weekends and evening functions will be required sometimes on a rota basis. You must be able to work in a team and also on your own initiative. An outgoing personality is essential as you will come into contact with a wide range of people with whom you must communicate.

Working 5 days out of 7 on a shift pattern which will include early starts (06.00 hrs) and late finishes (22.00 hrs).
