We are looking for a successful and enthusiastic meetings and events planner to join our established team. Primarily responsible for management and administration of all external client bookings and events for the CMDC. Also responsible for managing the daily catering and accommodation requests, alongside SOM programme requirements. To ensure maximum usage and optimum revenue is obtained from each sales opportunity. The basic hours of work are 37 hours per week working 5 days out of 7.

Management

Development Centre

This position is varied and busy. Always on the go you must be physically fit as lifting will be involved. You role will include the setting up and servicing of lecture rooms, general porter duties, setting up buffets and serving hot drinks throughout various locations. You will need to be flexible as working on weekends and evening functions will be required sometimes on a rota basis. You must be able to work in a team and also on your own initiative.  An outgoing personality is essential as you will come into contact with a wide range of people with whom you must communicate. Working 5 days out of 7 days on a shift pattern which will include early starts (7.00am) and late finishes (10.00pm)

The role is to provide cleaning services to our students and residents at Lanchester Hall and the residential park. You must be physically fit and enjoy working alongside a team.

The main hours of work are from 09:00 – 15:00 on a casual basis.

Duty Manager

We are looking for a Duty Manager to join the Conference Centre team.  This role offers a fantastic working environment supporting a good work life balance philosophy and we are committed to training and developing our team. Cranfield Management Development Centre is situated close to both Milton Keynes and Bedford and has an established high quality reputation as a 186 room Hotel and Conference Centre.  The role is varied and includes ensuring the smooth running of the operation on a daily basis.  Knowledge of both front of house and food and beverage operations is essential along with a professional and highly organised approach to management.  The role would ideally suit a candidate from a Hotel or Conference Centre background.

The basic hours of work are 37 hours per week working 5 days out of 7 straight shifts on a rota basis.
